The large crescent-shaped blade edge provides a larger cutting edge, and the slight slope of the blade allows downward strikes. The back of the axe head is flattened to serve as a hammer tool. A pure brass mosaic pin placed in the center of the eye creates a sturdier hold as well as a special touch. The handle is made from sheesham wood that had been smoothed, contoured, and covered with a sleek protective coating. A lanyard hole is provided to attach rope or cord. Included with this beauty is hand tooled genuine leather sheath that has been stained a rich dark brown and features three snap closures as well as a belt loop for easy secure carry.
